The HISTORY Channel will mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11 with four new documentary films exploring the deadly attack and its aftermath, Broadcasting & Cable reported.

The first documentary, Revealed: The Hunt for Bin Laden, is set to premiere May 2, the 10th anniversary of the raid on his hideout. This documentary draws on interviews and stories told in the Museum’s special exhibition of the same name to tell the sweeping tale, linking policy, intelligence, and military decision-making as they converged on a mysterious compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

In addition, the HISTORY Channel has forged a multifaceted partnership with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, telling powerful stories about those who lost loved ones on 9/11 and highlighting important artifacts in the 9/11 Memorial Museum's Collection.

Closer to the 20th anniversary of 9/11, the HISTORY Channel said it would release three more documentary films: 9/11: Four Flights, which tells the stories of the people aboard the hijacked jets; Rise and Fall: The World Trade Center, which tells the stories of the people who planned and built the complex and the story of the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. A fourth documentary, with the working title 9/11: From the Ground Up will explore accounts of 9/11 from people who picked up video cameras that day and features previously unseen pictures and unheard audio.
