The new "Explore 9/11" app is now available. Download it for free on the App Store.

The app is a guide to understanding the history of the World Trade Center, the symbolism behind the design of the 9/11 Memorial and the inspiring spaces of the 9/11 Memorial Museum and its artifacts.

Explore 9/11’s two main features are map mode and story mode. Rotate your device to switch between modes. In map mode, users can move along an engaging map of the Memorial plaza and inside the Museum, tapping hotspots to discover rich content that includes vivid photography, powerful videos, image sliders and audio recordings from first responders and survivors. In story mode, users can explore chapters giving more background to the history of 9/11 and the inspiring artifacts housed within the Museum.
